(AGICOSINTERNATIONAL) - 26 July 2010 - GAMING: IT’S A HOT SUMMER FOR THE GAMING INDUSTRY. A NEW DECREE TO INCREASE REGIONAL REVENUE

There is no peace for the gaming industry, even in these last days of July. It now seems, according to rumours reported by Agicos, that a new decree is expected to be issued in the weeks ahead relating to games with the manifest aim of increasing regional revenue. The decree may also contain some of the AAMS measures currently in the process of being examined by the Government, which include the increase in the number of Videolottery terminals, the amnesty for NewSlot concessionaires but at higher penalty tax rates, and the call for tenders for the provision of betting services set for 2011 instead of 2012.
