(AGICOSINTERNATIONAL) - 23 July 2010 - ONLINE GAMBLING: THE WORLD CUP GIVES SPORTS BETTING A BOOST

Online sports betting revenue remained steady in June when compared with the previous month due to successful World Cup results. Turnover increased 62,2% to €100.1 million from €61.7 million in 2009. For the first six months of 2010, online sports betting revenue rose 19,55% to €755.331.333 over the same period last year. With online sports betting now accounting for 29,2% of the total, down from over 30% in 2009.
