(AGICOSINTERNATIONAL) - 21 July 2010 - WORLD CUP BETTING: THE MOST STAKED EVENT WAS ITALY-PARAGUAY IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE TOURNAMENT FINALS

The most staked event was Italy-Paraguay in the first round of the tournament finals. This match generated €9 million in betting turnover, followed by the game against Slovakia (€7.64 million) and New Zealand (€7.6 million). England-Algeria and France-Mexico generated €7.2 million and €6.2 million in betting revenue respectively. Overall revenue exceeded €191.4 million for the first round of the tournament finals.
