(AGICOSINTERNATIONAL) - 14 July 2010 - SCRATCH-CARD TENDER: OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS, INSTANT TICKET REVENUES HAVE EXCEEDED €32 BILLION

Instant lottery games in the first half of 2010 generated more than €4.8 billion in revenue and awarded winnings for an amount exceeding €3.3 billion. Conversely, in 2009, winnings exceeded €6 billion and 580 million of winning tickets were sold: overall revenue was €9.4 billion. Over the past five years, instant ticket sales have exceeded €32 billion and more than €6.5 billion have swollen the State coffers.
