Another big international operator made its debut in Italy. Novomatic, the Austrian Group which had turnover of €2.5 billion in 2008, with 14,000 employees, and affiliated companies in 22 countries exporting gaming equipment to 62 countries, has recently acquired by its Adria Gaming International subsidiary, the majority of assets of PuntoItalBet, Italian operator strongly rooted in the country. In fact, PuntoItalBet currently holds 5 concessions for sports betting and 6 for horse racing after having competed in the 2000 tender, 2 shops and 10 sports corners, in addition to a remote licence, 2 shops and 28 horse racing corners resulting from the Bersani decree and 10 new horse racing agencies. agicosinternational - 09/06/2009 - mf | |
